This research prototype recognizes candle shapes and asks Jev to classify current technical context. It does not place trades or establish that technical patterns predict returns.
Pattern rules are deterministic. EMA 20/50 use SMA seeds; RSI 14 uses Wilder smoothing; volume compares against the preceding 20 bars. The scanner labels 16 patterns with explicit numeric rules. Hammer/hanging-man and inverted-hammer/ shooting-star names use the preceding three candles for trend context. Stars use a no-gap variant for 24/7 markets. A closed candle is not confirmation of a future reversal. Forming matches can disappear before the close.
Replay uses captured market updates at 6× speed, preserving the order and timing of real events. Model calls were made during capture and appear only after their recorded completion time. Only observed closed candles were submitted. This is a demonstration, not a performance test.
Live candles stream from Kraken with REST recovery. Jev evaluates only closed candles. Latency includes network round trip. Calls and export history are kept in this browser session, not a durable audit service.
